>> How did offensive lineman Cole Pensick start working at guard? He volunteered in practice. When Husker offensive line coaches yelled for someone to jump in at guard when another NU player got banged up, Pensick grabbed his helmet.
“I kind of said to myself, “I have a good idea on what to do, I’ll jump in.’ The next day, they started talking to me about it. You gotta do what you gotta do. It’s human nature to just jump in there. They’re yelling for someone, no one’s doing it, so I just ran in there.”

Here's to praying Justin Jackson doesn't get injured and has the stamina of an ox. There is no one behind him who can play.

:pound:

"Who's the guy that just took a rep at guard?"

"Our back-up center."

"Who's behind our back-up Center?"

"No one."

"Has this guy ever played guard before? Does he know the position"

"Nope."

"How many days till the opener?"

"Three."

"Ok put him at guard."

Mike'l Severe claims Ron Kellog is one of the best practice throwing qb he's ever seen, and the worst live in game situation qb's he's ever seen.

Great when there's no pass rush. Slightest hint of one and he freezes up like a chevy in a Nebraska snow storm.

Amazing passing ability, perfect footwork, giant pussy.

This fails to make me think happy thoughts. Makes me wonder how many linemen we need on the team to be two deep. Around 50% maybe? smh

I saw another article he is still practicing at center also. Think it's a coincidence that it is always the gus on the o line that are being bounded around and asked to play multiple positions and it is also our line that has been consistently deficient? Fucking Barney has his head up his ass. Put them somewhere and let them get good god dammit.

Guise.. we srsly changed our sheme twice on the OL.. keeping some of the Tackles and OGs in the same spot woulda been on par with have Dailey run the WCO

So 2nd year in same offense and still shuffling guys around?

Will reserve final judgement for Wiscy game.

I don't expect everyone to bash barney as I am right now  Nothing he has done to this point has proven to me that he can coach a great O-Line though. Or a good one for that matter.

Great at producing mediocre ones though!
