Lol indeed. At least no other BIG team lost. Although Northwestern won but just 4 and the Minnesota defense wasn't impressive. Illinois had the biggest margin victory.
NW was disappointing but Loyola may not be bad. Wisky looked very good.

Wisky did look good except for a long stretch when Alex Illikanen played. The dude is dreadful and hasn't had a single impressive game in his career. I was hoping freshmen Nate Reaveurs (top ten pf) would take his spot on the bench but he decided to redshirt.

Wow, this team just keeps impressing me. Just when I think the SF might be a position of weakness Iverson scores 17 points on 8/9 shooting and win 89 to 60. Every position has a guy that can score 20+ points and 2 backups that can score 10+ as well. This team is looking way better than the team of last season.

Next 3 games will tell us a lot about Wisconsin with Xavier , Baylor and UCLA/Creighton

Cupcakes are over and now it's potentially 3 ranked teams in a row

Not sure what to think of Ohio State yet. Just hope we get out of non conference without an embarrassing loss like in the past 2 seasons. The vibe of the team seems better though they've only played Robert Morris and Radford

Ball handlers are thin, turnovers are going to be a problem. Everyone would be wise to press the hell out of us.

I'll be surprised if he plays more than 12 minutes a game as a Freshman. Kentucky may only lose 2-3 guys to the draft this year, meaning playing time will be at a premium. Plus they also have a 5 star rated better than him, and I doubt a guy like Gilgeous-Alexander will go pro, so he's in position to start. Herro is likely the 5th option at guard next season, I don't really understand this commitment.

Makes zero sense. Not to mention they'll likely sign another 5 star next year and the year after . No guarantee he will ever play since the position is so loaded when he comes in. I have never got the guys that make these decisions .

You mean zero cents. Or more likely quite a few zeros even before the cents column.

Great move by the kid, way more talented than any Kentucky player by a landslide. He didn't want to ride the bench with the Badgers for four years so he decided to be a little bitch and be a one and done with Kentucky. Kobe King would've made him his bitch so he wanted less competition and go play for Kentucky.

The tool actually said the blue bloods is where I knew I wanted to go.

St. John's put on an "And 1" Clinic against Nebraska last night. Here's a highlight from it:

Up and down game for Ohio State last night.

Let Texas Southern back within 2 points with 7 left.....but put it together and ended up winning by 18.

PG is going to be a problem, no depth or consistency there. Still bullish on this team 3 games in against meh competition, but you can see a difference from the past few years, even with the clear growing pains.

Bates-Diop is by far our best player. Hopefully he stays healthy all year.

Musa Jallow looks like a David Lighty type as a freshmen. Athletic high energy guy who finds ways to get things done when presented the opportunity. If he can ever develop a consistent jump shot he will be a star here.

Texas Southern will look better on the resume than most probably think. 2 out of the last 3 years they've finished in the top 150. If you're going to schedule a MEAC or SWAC opponent they're the ones to schedule. They honestly might go 0-13 in OOC play, but they're as safe a bet to win their conference as any team in the country.

Yea. Texas Southern has been consistently the best team in the SWAC over the past few years. It's still the SWAC though, lol. Theyve definitely been the best team we've played so far (once again not saying much)

18 points was a nice win over them. Especially considering we allowed them to cut it to 2 with 7 minutes left. Gonzaga waxed them by like 30 and they took Wazzu (very bad) to OT.....so I was expecting somewhere in the middle (Not as good as gonzaga but not as bad as wazzu) which was the end result.

Quality of play has been up and down.....effort level however has not, which is one clear big change from the last 2 seasons.

Gophers are a 37.5 favorite tonight against Alabama A&M. This has got to be the largest spread for a game in my lifetime. Get the freshman and Hurt some much needed playing time tonight.
