Could you yell down from the balcony and tell 'em to lay off the threes: last three halves 2-24 from behind the arc. Crean may not know that stat.

Haha I was right next to the court, I had some words for them and the refs. Caught fire late though and we squeak out a win 73-72.

Good win for the Badgers. Down 16-4 in the first half and completely dominated from that point on. Badgers don't lose at home. Plain and simple.

I just got back from watching the Wisconsin-Florida game.

It was a good win for the Badgers, but damn, they made it WAY closer than it had to be. They had some really careless turnovers and some porous free throw shooting that let Florida get back in it. I also felt like the offense was too passive toward the end.

While I know a lot of people say Wisconsin lives and dies by the 3, what I can say is I can see why. They're terrific at spreading out defenses and making defenses play every inch of the half-court. I noticed when they do this, it opens up cutting lanes for the guards and guys like Brust and Dekker were able to take advantage of it.

It's funny because I felt the way they played was the exact opposite of the St. John's game. The defense was awful in that game, but they made up with it with a well-oiled offense and strong free throw shooting. In this game, the defense played TERRIFIC and the offense came unglued and missed too many free throws (8-for-14).

Wow, I was checking out the stat sheet and IU's bench only scored 5 points in the game. No wonder we almost lost, jeez.

Good summary...gotta love the atmosphere at the KC tonight!

Well went to the Iowa game last night. Main observation is that IF Iowa shoots the ball well this year ( like they did last night ) they are going to be extremely tough to beat. Team has some athletes. We had more huge dunks last night that we had in the entire 2008-2010 season. Now my enthusiasm is tempered by the fact it was Maryland-Eastern Shore but this Iowa team looks like they could cause some big trouble to the B10 this year.

that kind of troubling news is encouraging, if you ask me.

Feel bad for coach Groce and the Illini...thinking they had a good chance of landing Illinois native Cliff Alexander at his little presser this afternoon...so the kid looks at the hats in front of him, picks up Illinois, drops it...then puts the Kansas hat on. haha. real fucking funny...what a dickwad!

Officially time to put the Badgers on upset alert. They are down to seven to Green Bay on the road with 12 left. Whenever we go up there, they treat it like their Super Bowl. We lost to them the last time I remember playing there as well (in 2009).

Came back and won 69-66 with UW-GB missing a desperation three to tie.

The Phoenix seem like a team that could wreak havoc on a team in the NCAA tourney if they get in. They're no strangers to upsets since they beat Marquette at the Resch Center last year. Glad Bucky held on to win.

early season nail biters build character...

but sure play havoc on yer nails!

I remember that too. Remember thinking Bucky dropped pants for a cupcake...but then...remember finding out that cupcake's got a solid, dangerous program. Looks like this year's squad's no different.

grats on the win.

The one thing I will say positively about the UW-GB game is what a game for Frank Kaminsky. Badgers have been waiting for him to show up and he did just that. 16 points, 8 rebounds, 4 blocked shots. It's not like UW-GB is a small team either so for him to get more assertive on the offensive and defensive ends is pretty refreshing.

We need a low post threat and Kaminsky needs to fill that role.

Gophers use a late 19-0 run to pull away from Richmond on the road. Dre Hollins looks like the best PG in the B1G for sure.

Ohio State has a lot to work on offensively

the 17 point road win vs Marquette is good for the resume but it was ugly
