Not sure I can agree with that. Mom is DATING an OU COACH - if you don't get why dad isn't happy with that, I'm not sure your homerism can override your parenting.

The kid needs to get away from BOTH of them and decide where he wants to go. BOTH parents are driving this, that's clear.

Yeah....seems like the kid needs to get far far away from the state of Oklahoma because of the family drama....

but....a problem with the 'getting away' strategy is he doesn't have a lot of choices because despite being a 4-star with a 247 composite score of 95.56, he currently only holds 10 offers.

Let that sink-in a bit...... a top Defensive Lineman with only 10 offers...... It sure looks like most schools don't want to deal with the baggage/family drama.

You got the top two......neither are that great tho, it's a down year in the state at DL and OL.

Max Wright has had 2 ACL injuries, so good luck with him ever producing on the field

Brown is a good get tho. Too bad Sumlin/Chavis whiffed on a historic DB class this year in state.

Yeah, his reputation is well deserved......KEEP Sumlin and Chavis FOREVER aggy.......I like that they blow it with most of the impact players

This kid is a prima donna. I'm not a fan, I don't care how much of a freak athlete he is.

The Buckeyes have backed off of Parsons. They want either Smith or Oweh, prefer both, but I would imagine PSU will get 1 of the 2. I think Surtain is supposedly going to be on an OV this weekend. I don't see him leaving the south, but he would be a great pick if we lose out on Cook.

All indications are that Cook is a done deal to either Texas or LSU

Cook has delayed his announcement (supposed to be 10/30 originally) I think. He is torn because he knows he should go to Ohio State but is kind of a momma's boy and wants to be close to home. No timeline for a decision now. He may still end up staying in Texas, but last week I thought he was a done deal to the Longhorns.
