I'm sure there's a long game with the Facebook deal. What is it?

On second thought, just probably a case of facebook giving MLB a ton of cash to air games on their platform.

Facebook paid several million to air one game per week.

I think it's a sack of shit. I haven't had a Facebook in nearly 2 years.

AA was on a podcast today and here's some highlights that was posted on reddit.

-Money isn't an issue, and Liberty Media wants to win (I take that with a grain of salt)

-Credits RonWash for Dansby's defensive improvement. Said he was a poor defender last year and still has room to grow

-Emphasized how Markakis leads by example, but couldn't comment if he would be back next year

-Waiting for Riley's plate discipline, mostly SO rate, to improve

I appreciate his honesty and lack of smoke-screens. He also seems to highly value how much work it took to create the farm we have and he's not looking for 3-for-1 prospect-pro swaps for 2 month rentals.

A few rehab games and he should be back when Cincy comes to town.

Anything less than 5-1 will be a disappointing home stand. That roadtrip that follows is brutal.

I think 5-1 is probably what we will do. Im just glad the Orioles arent gonna be coming to Suntrust on a big losing streak. But both of these teams are awful so If dont go at least 5-1 im gonna be pissed.

Acuna 0-2. Almost hit a GS in his 2nd at bat but the CF made a great leaping catch at the wall

They're manipulating the rotation. Teheran didn't need to go on the DL(but if he's back to throwing 93 instead of 88, I won't complain) and Folty didn't either.

And Acuna was supposed to start a rehab stint last weekend, but they put it off a week for no reason.

A blooper that's a hit with a slower second baseman, two hard hit flyouts, a guy thrown out a second on a ball that's a standup double for most hitters and a single.

Not a lot of soft contact.
