@Skerpokes - I agree with what you said over in the Purdue Game thread. @huskers1217 was kind enough to post the remaining schedule. I personally think all are winnable (even the Wiscy game because we get them at PBA), but i just don't see this team coming through in near all of them. I think they will be close games with the way they are playing. I'd be thrilled with winning 5 of them.

The team that beat Indiana, Maryland and Purdue is the same team that lost to Rutgers, and Home and Garden U.

Yes every remaining game on the schedule is winnable but the only games I give them the benefit of the doubt in are Penn State and Illinois at home. Best case they go 5-4 the rest of the way, worst case they go 2-7

A win tonight could potentially move Nebraska into a tie for 3rd in the Big 10 with MSU, Indiana and Iowa, with Nebraska going head to head with Iowa next. A win tonight could open the door to some possibilities.

God I hate the game to game what if's. Just fucking win

Tonight more or less closes the door on our chances of post season play.

Not because there aren't enough games left on the schedule. I just don't see us winning more than 4 more games or so at the very best.

The Big 10 Tourney is all we have left. We are a very streaky team and who knows.....maybe we'll be healthy and catch everyone off guard.

But basically what I'm saying is.....I'm tired and I'm turning pessimistic. I seriously take Husker Basketball games just like Football games.....so you can imagine I feel like I've been punched in the face over and over and over again these past 3-4 months.

Nebraska opponents are shooting nearly 40% from 3 point land this year and that's low compared to the last two games alone. If I'm reading that right, that ranks 336th in the nation.

It feels like every night they're going up against Steph fucking Curry

7 games left. I now see 2 winnable games remaining. PSU and Illinois.

That would leave them at 6-12 in conference and 12-18 overall if I can add right

Basically they need to win the B1G tournament to have a post season prayer.

Not saying exactly who, but I could swear I recall someone back a month or so say slow your roll, it's only a couple of games. This guy said y'all were setting yourself up for heartbreak again.
Anybody remember who that was?

I will say this, Captain Obvious here, but this team should only get better from here over the next few years. Only losing one senior, Webster, who is key but not a world beater.

But assuming Gill comes back healthy, Watson, McVeigh, Jacobson, Morrow, Roby, Horne and Taylor...and then Tshimanga. That dude, if he can learn how to play without fouling is going to be good. Plus you get Copeland at some point.

If this team isn't dancing in the next 2 years, then I think Miles' time is up

I'll bet we beat Wisconsin.

Honestly it only makes sense with how this season has gone.

I just posted something similar in the B1G basketball thread.

Nebraska has 3 conference losses by 1 point. Rutgers :-)L) Ohio State and now Wisconsin. Nebraska could just as easy be 7-5 in conference which would put them around 4th place with 6 games remaining all against teams ranked below them potentially. Even if they went .500 the rest of the way out they could have finished with 10 conference wins and probably dancing. Hard to remember a season with as much "what could have been" in it.

Freakin' Nebrasketball, man
