Do you have any nicknames?

"I have been called 'Dr. Ake,' 'Drako' and 'D-Magic."

......:L

Yup. Just like his brother. 4 more years of Martinez quotes.

Demarya Mixon (who failed to qualify academicallly) asked for and was granted a release from Nebraska.

He will visit Boise St, Washington St, Auburn, Oregon, and Arkansas with hopes to enroll at one in January.

Newells commitment is big... now Nebraska turns their attention to Claude Pelon (apparently, Nebraska in pretty good position here), Josh Frazier, Rohan Blackwood, Grant Harris and Ricky Walker... Nebraska has a good shot at getting two to three of that group IMO.

So, i was thinking about recruiting this morning. Saw an article saying JP would probably get out on the road this week with the bye.

1. He needs to sell immediate playing time - look how many freshmen are seeing the field this year.
2. He should just ask kids straight up, do you have a killer instinct on defense. If the kid hesitates or doesn't respond he should just walk out. Well, not seriously, but that's how i'd be trying to sell kids right now. Our defense needs some bite, are you the kid to give it to us?

I'm just not sure how else JP and Bo are going to get any decent defensive players here. I'm really worried about losing the few we have.

What defensive football player trying to get a scholly offer is gonna say he doesn't have a killer instinct?

They're gonna tell pap what he needs to hear.

I agree with the part about selling immediate PT.

Im trying to remain positive here but what in the name of Jobu is Papuchis doing away from the current D.
Or on second thought maybe thats best, maybe he should stay out on the road.

I'm looking forward to this years recruiting class with about the same enthusiasm as I have for the rest of our foseball schedule. Hard to dress up the defensive show we're putting on for potential recruits, early playing time across the board is our only card. Not hard to figure out why every JCDT we've gone after politely declines
