I wonder if we were to somehow win our last 2 games against Iowa at home and Minnesota on the road, if a 6-12 BIG record with 5 quality wins on the season would get us in the NIT.....

Last year 3 quality wins got us in the NIT en sech.....

We would also finish in 9th place in the BIG if that happens.........assuming Minnesota loses to Wisconsin tonight

Could you imagine if something like that happened. That is the beauty of College Basketball.........the whole regular season basically is meaningless.......at the end of the year every single team in the country has a shot to make a run for the National Championship.

What if a team like Nebraska had 3 all-stars that had sat out all season long and they all 3 came back right at the end of the year? One of these times it's going to happen to some team.
