more proof he got a boo boo:suds:

Braves placed LHP Max Fried on the 10-day disabled list with a left middle finger blister.

Fried had to exit Thursday's start in Milwaukee after coming down with the blister and it's going to cost him at least the next week and a half of action. It's unclear at this point who will replace the left-hander in the Braves' rotation.

Fried is a pussy. Braves are all pussies, especially the manager and front office. But Fried is just an AAAA pitcher and is being put on the phantom DL. We have 1.5 competent starters(Folty is usually good, Newcomb is good when nobody is watching) and they act like we have so much starting pitching depth.

Span is dead and Marichal hasn't pitched in 43 years ... how did that work out for them?

Stupid response since most great players from that era are no longer with us. The pitch count has ruined baseball. They don't know how to pitch on their off days. Oh for the days of Drysdale, Fergie, Gibby and Koufax.....

I agree the response was so ridiculous and just for humor sake ... lotta respect for the pitchers you listed with the exception of Bob Gibson that guy was too scary.

On July 11, 1985 Nolan Ryan becomes the first pitcher in major league history to strike out 4,000 batters on this date in 1985 when he fans outfielder Danny Heep of the New York Mets in the sixth inning at the Astrodome.

This day in sports: Nolan Ryan records 4,000th strikeout

100 MPH down the middle is still gonna get hit hard. Maddux was basically a soft tosser that could locate and was smarter than his opponent. Worked fine for him.

I know, right? Why can't everyone just do it like one of the greatest/smartest pitchers of all time did?

Yeah because managers are pussies too. Spahn was a WW2 vet from the greatest generation. He'd bitch slap anyone that tried to take him out of a shutout no matter how many innings or pitches. Real man.

Stick to what you know. If you take those pitchers and they were somehow able to figure out on the fly how to get the movement you need on a ball to get a batter out and threw them in a game they'd last maybe 4 innings. And if you took an above average player and threw him back then they'd put up juiced up Barry Bonds numbers. The game evolved dude.

Did you seriously just quote a 2 year old troll post?

Don't do that, that is terrible form.
