That win is all on Sullivan. He watched the first round. He knows you need to be down two early on the third to beat the Caps in Washington.

I like the sarcastic goalie chants if they've let in a softie, or played poorly the last game. Makes sense in that context. But otherwise I think it's huge potential to backfire. Just motivates the goalie - kind of like the ineffectiveness of Philly's "Crosby sucks" chant.

And tonight, it was dumb. Murray has eliminated you twice, and has two cups as a rookie. Why motivate him? Sure, 2-0, but both were grade A chances. Murray responds with great saves down the stretch.

Didn't see the game last night. Seemed like missed chances for the Caps early on and some combination of unlucky tips and Holtby fucking up in the 3rd. Sounds about right.

That's okay. Long series to go. In some ways I like us playing from behind better.
