I'm hitting the ball ok but scoring poorly. A couple of low to mid forties nine holers. Our league starts this week and I ain't scared 40 yet. Cripes.

Played my first birdie-less round in ages on Sunday. Figured it was just frickin Jesus getting me back for playing golf on Easter.

Not scrambling well...last to come back. I think TT was going to set up a league folder or something to that effect...interested in hearing how the league unfolds.

Yesterday we just had to call it quits on 17 after a frustrating day where the wind was gusting up to like 45 mph. It was damn near impossible to play par golf (and I definitely didn't).

Fired an 84 on Saturday. Best round I've played in awhile so hoping to build off of that.

I did as well...44-41 and played better than that imo...two +3 holes wrecked the card.
One that still burn was a short par 5.

50 is a bit healthy, but overall not terrible...why the 7 shot swing on the back...what did you fix?

My back has been acting up since my last posted round so I shut it down the last 2 weekends...I hit some yesterday and it feels good today so I plan on hitting again after work this week and if it still feels okay I'll get back it Sat.

Shot 75 yesterday (40-35). After missing back to back birdie putts on holes 7 and 8 from inside 3 feet, I got a putting tip from my playing partner and did not miss a putt the rest of the day.

 Are we supposed to draw inspiration from this?...lol.

Good playing...but I'm sure the short missed birdies had to sting!

It was unbelievable. Pulled both of them right out of the hole. It was becoming a habit, missing every short putt left. Turned out I was moving my head and my shoulders just followed to the left. I had no idea, but my partner saw it right away.

Not often we do see it our selves...1st round after sitting out 2 weeks with a back...46-41, 87...I was pretty pleased with it...30 putts (3 of them were 3 putt holes, but pretty good for me).

Shot a 88 (40-48) a few weeks ago in Portland, OR. One of my higher rounds of the season.

Pretty damn happy with it since I was almost too intoxicated to drive the cart on the back 9. Also after ample amounts of curse words on a few tee boxes I gave myself a few generous mulligans due to my mental state.

Enjoyed the reads in this thread!

Our fantasy sports site team goes out once a month together and today is that day for july.
So the stat chat .com will be the group (3 - 4somes) that has a cold cans of beer and will be enjoying the game no matter how good or bad we play. Though to let you in on a secret I spent Mon.-Wed. at the range working on chipping and putting to lower my strokes. I'm not telling them because if I do play poorly I don't want anyone laughing and say and YOU PRACTICED!!! haha.

PS GOLF I LOVE YOU IN AN ODD WAY, BE GOOD TO ME TODAY!

You guys post some really low scores. I don't think you guys are no drinking enough during these rounds.
Come on ...at least 4 cold boys per round.

Absolutely blew a really good round yesterday. Was 3 under through 10 holes. Played the last 8 in 6 over (2 doubles) - for a 3 over 75. One of the doubles was the 18th.

Reasons why I don't golf:

1. It's friggin expensive.

2. It takes to long to play.

3. The last time I played, I hit the ball off the tee of one hole, and it landed on the green of another hole.:peep:

Good thing me and my buddy went on a slow day. I didn't hit anybody. And I just had my buddy to laugh his head off at me.

NEhomer.

I had a few good chips from 40 yards and in but nothing went into the hole. My putting sucked ass!

Hizzle, at hole 3 of our 18 hole day our entire group was already buzzed. We had plenty of beer on ice and I brought the 1792 Ridgemont Reserve its a Kentucky straight Bourbon whiskey.

With me being the only one in the group that knows the golf rules, edicate and so fourth lets just say we let about 8 groups pass us and got one group to hell at a par 3...SMH, talk about a great time but I had way to much babysitting going on. Thus next outing I'm pairing vet golfers with the rookies to keep things running smooth. hahah.
