Tim Brown on Jim Rome

Tim Brown was just on the Jim Rome show. He was saying that he had a chance to go to a different team in 97 but it didn't materialize. After that, he made an appointment to talk to Al Davis and they hashed out their differences. Tim said that he went in with a legal pad with about 20 or 21 different things on in concerning the handling of Marcus Allen and Art Shell along with some rumors he had heard concerning Al's possible influence on how some plays were called. He also wanted to know what Al's vision for the Raiders was. After about a 6 hour meeting, Tim left the room knowing that the Raiders was exactly where he wanted to be.

I can just imagine if something like that took place at the current time w/ one of the Redskins players & Bruce Allen and/or Dan Snyder. They would no doubt walk away feeling depressed & angry & leaving the room thinking "How the fuck can I get out of here".
