Tiger's return on hold, pulls out of Safeway

There was zero pressure for him to do anything. Not to mention the fact that you can wait just 6 days before you have to commit to a torney. The one question that is not going to be answered is how could he not know till today where his game was at.

It just gets stranger.

Bottomline...he knew his game wasn't tour caliber and just got cold feet.

Maybe it was just coincidence, but I heard while at the Ryder Cup, he was encouraged by the team to go hit balls out on the range and around the practice greens. Apparently he declined.

But what makes no sense is how he could be so wrong about that state of his own game.
That is very out of character for Tiger. And he had a birds eye view of some the best golf you will see all year at the Ryder Cup. ...and he than commits to the Safeway?

Strange things are afoot at the Circle K.

Most rational golf fans feel like Tiger's career (anything close to the Tiger of old) is over and has been for a while, but the media still seems like they are still expecting the guy to walk on water....the big promos, etc.

The guy has missed an entire year+ from competitive golf. Tiger would do good to play a few events off the radar, and ease his way back into golf...play a Web.com event or two. Trying to come back under the circumstances he's looking at, I guess I don't blame him for being a little gun shy, because he probably realizes this might be his last shot at a return.
