Manny, totally get what your saying. And it is "NOT" too early to talk about the "possibility" of going to the SB. Fact is, this is the time that certain teams are pulling away from the pack and there are playoff favorites. We are not only a division favorite, playoff favorite, we are a top 4 team in the NFC, and looking more and more like a THE top team in the conference. That makes us a SB favorite "at this time." So while we are not there and anything can happen, it is not too early to get excited about our chances. Because our chances are STRONG where we sit, as opposed to many other teams with losing records. We are beating teams with good records, and are doing far better than anyone expected this year.

There are a lot of injuries this year that are taking out some top teams. But to minimize what we are doing this year because of it is absolute BS and pisses me off as well. There are injuries every year, and the SB is not paved thru just those injuries. Bottom line, haters are seeing the same thing - WE ARE becoming a SB consideration and haters are starting to hate early. That alone should illustrate where we are sitting. And I agree with Roy - F THEM! GO EAGLES!!!! This is our year!!

The first piece there. Historically 8-1 teams have made the SB 44 percent of the time and won 24 percent of the time. That's 2-1 to make it and 4-1 to win it if we win Sunday, based on history.

I like those numbers. But, it's still a lot of season to go (especially in a weird year like this)
