dont get me wrong they're great, but when u track calories i can eat 20 oz of sirloin or like 8 of ribeye
Right on. That takes some commitment man. I used to lift just after high school, but when it got time to cut down, I couldn't do it. So I was a hell of a lot stronger, but mainly looked fatter to everyone else. Now I just eat paleo and do kind of crossfit style stuff, more reps-less weight.

I'm proud of you, too. I would have expected a guy like you would have 3rd degree burns over at least a third of your body after using a heat source capable of boiling water.

Got a pressure cooker for Christmas and have been trying it out the last 6 weeks. Its unreal how fast beef roasts cook in that thing. 3lbs roast cooks in about 1.5 hours and is fork tender like it stewed for 12 hours in a crock pot.

use that fucker to pre-cook your fav slabs of pork ribs and finish on the barbie with 3 glazings of sauce…meat will drip of the bones.

enjoy.
One it warms up outside a bit, I will start doing stuff like that for sure. The best thing I have made so far is Italian Beef and BBQ pork loin or ribs is what I am looking forward to most. Finishing it on the grill like you said makes me crave it so bad!

Sous Vide machine is my next task that I hope to get soon.

They've really dropped in price. This one was about a buck fiddy. Anova. Works like a charm.

Some people think it's the end all be all. I think it's a soulless way to cook, but it a useful tool for some applications.
