NY Giants fans claim Levi's Stadium arrest violated free speech

I am pretty sure every NFL stadium has a code of conduct and purchasing a ticket to a game is equivalent to signing that contract. Being outnumbered by over 40000 fans of the home stadium, berating the home team, most likely drunk and stupid, I am surprised they didn't end up in the ICU in a Santa Clara hospital.

Poor taste, sure. I don't think you should get arrested for heckling though. However, i'm sure they caused the situation to escalate, too many people think you are allowed to be a messy, drunk, asshole.

You can't arrest someone for heckling & flipping people off. They can, however, remove him from the stadium by force. Since they used a taser, I'm suspecting what really happened is that he used force back to resist security and / or police officers & got arrested for that.

We'll see if more info' comes out...

Actually, opposing stadium or home stadium. Being a douche is unacceptable anywhere. Have a couple beers, cheer on your team and have fun but show some respect to the people around you. Of course, there always has to be one asshole ruining the fun for all the other people there. Happens everywhere.

I've been to Yankee Stadium, Vet and the Linc. Never had a problem.
