I had a great dane that loved chasing footballs, but they lasted maybe two or three days. So, I decided to invest in what I thought was a much sturdier ball that would be able to withstand her strong jaws. So I dropped a $100 on a football for her Christmas gift (wish I had a video of my wife's expression when she found out). Christmas morning rolls around and I give my dane the ball. She puts it in her mouth and crushes it in one single, jaw cramp. I couldn't stop laughing...but best of all, my wife said I could no longer participate in the purchasing of Christmas gifts. Bummer, no more holiday trips to overcrowded malls.
