But I really hope the master gets critically injured fighting Born to the death, jumps into Zack's body, and Ephram has to kill MasterZack.

That would be the best ending.

I must say that one of the reasons I continued to watch The Strain was the character Zach... he is so fooking despicable! Actor Max Charles is doing a great job portraying a spoiled, angst ridden, teenage prick. Zach is one of my favorite villains on TV.... I fooking hate him!

Could Zach possibly be even more despicable than Joffrey on Game of Thrones?

I was going to remove this shit from my DVR after last season but kept it due to the final season. The finale sucked.

a bit of justice that Zak redeemed himself, in a way, but thought the explanation of the aftermath was BS

That's the way I felt too. But if you really think about it, the whole show was about sons and fathers. It was actually a fitting end to the whole story. Was just a disappointing one though.
