More than you can afford. I will give you free crystal ball readings though.

That crystal ball of yours able to predict the next winning season for the Bears or is not able to go that far into the future?

Well, it is tough to win on the road in the NFL. Opening with 2 straight on the road isn't the greatest draw, but of those first 2 games I think we have a better chance vs Chicago than Denver. Both games are certainly winnable.

In the off chance you're not joking, they signed Case Keenum to a $36M 2-year deal this off-season.

You know I totally forgot about him going to Denver

I know one thing for sure, we’re a better football team with him on the field, I hope we can work something out ..

Completely agree, i think it only takes Thomas to show a new found desire to play for the Hawk in their eyes. Right now that is very lacking because of his actions before the 2017 season even ended.

I don’t really understand Earl’s end game here. He’s not going to get a new deal by holding out. I could be totally wrong on this, but I don’t get the sense that a new deal is off the table, but it isn’t going to happen until he’s in camp. I’m sure deep down he wants to play for Dallas, but obviously they don’t value him enough to offer enough draft capital to the Hawks.

It’s an all around crappy situation, that I don’t see ending well for either side. Earl doesn’t look great after his comments on Kam a couple years ago either.

Maybe he just doesn't want to go through all the work at camp?

It's the only card players have to play. It's not often very effective, but sometimes it works - see Jones, Julio.

Perhaps. I kind of get the feeling that it will be a few games into the season before we see Earl though. I actually think he's genuine with this, not a Walter Jones situation.

Agree... Increases risk of injury upon returning as well holding out that long...

I think ET is toast in these parts.
Team wise, I'm moving on.
