No surprise. Floyd is in his contract year... and I believe the Pats are one of the best orgs at getting veterans to focus on what is ahead of them. Floyd has the ability to be a #1 WR, he just needs to focus on football and not getting drunk 24/7.

If, and it's a BIG IF imo, the Pats COULD get him to somehow turn his mental issues around, Floyd, Edelman, Gronk would easily be the deadliest WR duo in the league. I'm not counting on Floyd turning it around though... Arizona is boring enough, Boston will be the end of him.

Don't worry too much, that's still a .667 batting average, and the spelling police are asleep at the wheel most of the time, so no big deal.

Roger Goodell smiling ear to ear over his dinner tonight

A team that had a serial killer on its roster, spits in the face of the leagues zero tolerance policy, and signs this guy before he even sobered up

If Roger was honest

"That's why we punish that piece of shit organization for minor infractions"

Dude, it's been nice having Hammer gone this season. No need to fill in with the stupid shit. Not that the Patriots aren't a piece of shit organization.

Eh... it's going to take a while for him to get the offense. Now for the real question: Can he catch an effing punt? And if he can, can he hold onto it?

When I read this I was not too happy about it. I mean he was dropped for a reason and well I just don't want him. But hopefully I will be changing my tune (as @TP76 stated, hopefully he can catch)

Has he doused his wife and kids with bleach or carved up a couple of drunks outside a bar?

A low risk move with a potentially high reward.

We shall see, eh?

He's never lived up to his hype. Has had a few big games but he is way to inconsistent and clearly a headcase off the field, getting two DUI's in your 20's is a huge red flag. He was awful this year too, tons of drops on easy catches, dude's just not focused.

Highly doubt it will change in New England... Hope it does though
