Lonzo is gonna get the Blake treatment.

Everyone put hands on him because of the hype.

He's been slapped multiple times.

Lonzo will be fine.

He had a rough game that was exasperated by his teammates inability to knock down open looks.

It was weird for me tonight.

I love Lonzo and have hated Beverly, historically.

He is annoying as fuck.

Sadly, he's the toughest guy on our roster.

Beverley is one of those guys you will hate unless he is playing on your team. Annoying AF but his teammates probably love him for it.

Congrats.

I don't see it as being THAT rough a game for him. He's not an offensive player so 1 of 6 doesn't surprise me at all. He had 9 rebounds, 4 assists (his team-mates were't hitting their shots, easily could have had 8-9 or more), 1 steal, and 1 block. Not to shabby at all.

Yup. Covington is a very good defensive player and has a decent jumpshot. He could be a really good 3-and-D player. Supposedly, the 76ers are working on an extension for him and will hopefully announce it in November (they can't technically extend him until then.) Based on how he was acquired, I'm pretty sure they can load some of the salary into this year so that they can free up salary in years 3 and 4 when they should hopefully be competitive.

Depending on who you ask, some 76ers fans think he's worthy of a near-max contract (I'm not one of those people but I definitely do want to see him extended). I'm hoping the treatment that guys like Roberson got this offseason helps bring the number to something reasonable.
