College FOOTBALL Natty game here fellas
I wasn't making a brag as much as making a point, I know which forum this is. UW has 6 of those 500 AG posted on.Wait Pac 12ers.. Are we counting all championships? I mean, UCLA has been solid in girls volleyball and Washington in girls golf..
But we on the college football forum here fellas. @Vitamike @AlaskaGuy

However the point of this thread I believe, is to pick unlikely P5 Champs, since we always have surprises.
Join a conference, pussy.Indy Conference ignored again ... this is horse shet.
Illinois with Lovie Smith. At least their division. That division is garbage anyway so it's possible
Don't tell the Iowa folks that though
ACC - Georga Tech
Hard to go with anyone not named Florida State, but for chuckles, I'll go brown nose and pick the bosses Alumni, they had a decent season last year, so you never know.
So the consensus opinion on the alternate kirk universe CC list is.
Nebraska
Oregon
Texas
Tennessee
North Carolina
I never make the lists and I been here 4 years with over 8000 posts
PAC - Stanford
BIG - Wisconsin
XII - Oklahoma State
ACC - Virginia
SEC - Auburn
It's not the popular picks but any of it could happen, and likely to happen with a couple of turnovers en sech.
It's the overlooked teams that nobody wants to pick like the Island of Misfit Toys.
Could happen.
Why people only pick the obvious is beyond me.

I feel like Virginia is primed to make a run at something with that new coach with the best football name in the business.
Least likely....
I just posted that Stanford won half of the PAC12 Conference Titles since the PAC went to 12 teams 6 years ago in spite of what you point out. In that time, Oregon has a pair, and UW won last year.
They've got to be considered a Conference favorite because they've done over, and over again. And as recent as a season removed when they went 12-2 in '15. BTW - 10-3 last year, is not exactly a down year either.
They haven't had a home run QB since Luck and that won't be different this year. They have a lot of talent in the trenches so no one should ever take them lightly. For any game. It takes solid QB play to win championships though and I'm not really expecting them to have that this season.I think Stanford is still a solid team, but I don't think they are as good as Washington or USC. And I think the Cardinal has underperformed under David Shaw compared to what would be expected of them if Jim Harbaugh were still there.
In the Mora era, they have always been a thorn in his Bruins side. Not only being better in some games, but they have got some crazy wins too when it appeared the teams may have been on equal footing. They haven't had a home run QB since Luck and that won't be different this year.
