Well he was a great amateur and a good looking guy. As far as the looks go, he can't help that. And a big part of the job is being a walking billboard. Still, his play the last 4 years is nothing to sneeze at. He's been a legit top 10 golfer in the world. So if he's getting top 10 attention it's because he's earned it.

I agree. I like the guy and he's an excellent golfer. It's not as if he's Natalie Gulbis riding on looks & personality alone. He just hasn't had quite as much success as a handful of other young guys who have had more. I don't begrudge him any of it.

yeah, I'll buy that as far as a guy like Thomas goes. Thomas is just better tan Fowler is and probably always will be with his iron swing. But golf's in a weird funk. Every guy who's been the next big thing has kind of sizzled out. Rory's game is broken, Spieth is in a funk, DJ isn't doing anything lately, ... Just goes to show you how difficult it is to dominate this game.

as much as i dislike tiger, or the tv coverage he gets compared to the guys actually leading the tournament, that was a great shot.
