There was a reason his draft stock was that high. Rarely did anyone throw to that side of the field, and if they did, he usually made them pay the price. His technique is all you could ask for in a CB.
Damn shame for it to happen a month from draft, but hopefully he can come back and kick ass for someone next year. All the talent and training are there.

I don't know. Since it happened at their pro day and he may still technically be a student UW may cover it. It would depend on what grade he got after the injury if it's lower than 4th round that's millions left on the table if he can rehab for a year and go in the first in 2018.

A lot of them participate in the Combine and go back to their schools and retest to help their stock....

When you're predicted to be top 5 pick I don't see the need for a pro day.

With that said, seems like he got this injury doing a drill or thing he has done a million times, so it was probably going to happen sometime somewhere. Just an unfortunate incident and hopefully he gets drafted high and heals.

If he falls it's for the simple fact of the recovery time, a team that has their starters already in play will draft him. He can take the time learning the playbook and rehabbing under their team doctors......

Seattle will be all over him, Carroll will watch him on the draft boards and be a contender for him..

IMO Seattle is exactly the type of team that can't go after Jones. They have a very pressing need for a CB RIGHT DAMNED NOW! They have struggled with the opposite side of Sherman for a couple of seasons now and solid teams have been taking full advantage of it. They have no option for that side going into the draft.

I could see them going after Kevin King from the Huskies, but not Jones.
