Uh huh, ultimately his. He could either do that or never play or practice for Alabama. Great "choice" he was offered just so Alabama could make room. Alabama has this reputation for a reason -- because it's backed up by fact.

So now your complaint is Alabama doesn't treat things like Peewee football and makes sure everyone plays?

Harbs did his "evaluation" for the recruits during a sleepover. I guess he had to get rid of the ones who were not "Michigan men".
They didn't quite "measure up" to his standards.

No, my complaint is that Alabama signs more kids than they have room for and then strong-arms the ones they don't want into leaving.

And that's why even the guys who "complained" said it was ultimately their choice.

Btw, the people mentioned in that article were actually pissed about it as I recall because they claimed the article portrayed things falsely.

Alabama is making a mad rush to get the #1 spot! I hope they can knock Ohio State out.

I don't think they have a shot. Look at the point totals. OSU is running away with this.

It's been projected that Alabama will easily have the #1 spot by the end of the day, but these things are so fickle I never believe until I see all the letters signed.

tOSU has they guys they want, the rest is just icing on the cake. The ranking of the class doesn't matter.

Ohio St is ahead by 4 pts.

You Michigan fans really don't understand recruiting do you?

I was looking at Rivals on that one. Though, on 247 it's 8 points...so I'm not sure what you're looking at.

I read this the other day that says that rankings actually kinda do matter. I don't know how accurate this is though:

every national champion since 2003 has had at least one No. 1 class or multiple No. 2 overall classes

Quinn Nordin commits to Michigan - #1 kicker in the class. Sleepovers do work! The class is up to 27.

That's pretty much where I'm at til it gets past 10th or so. Not a ton of difference between them usually, just boils down to who pans out and which program can coach them up.

289.17 - 285.94 = 8?

And btw, that's with Alabama only having 19 commits at the moment. We are going to end up around 315 most likely.
