Houston's downfall in the playoffs will be their inability to generate a consistent half court offense. I've seen too many games where they look like world beaters when their threes are falling and then look like a lottery team when their threes aren't falling and have to resort to half court offense

I am sure the LAL would have loved to play better, their best player was traded yesterday and they are injury riddled, old, or both.

Betting against the LAL for a few weeks until their roster and rotation is set seems like easy money right now.

Yeah, yesterday was something like the 27th different starting lineup. Hard to have consistency when you literally have a different starting lineup every other game. Last years team looks like the picture of health compared to this one.

They are about to set the record for fewest starter minutes combined since the merger.

It is impossible for the Spurs to win any games with all the injuries and inconsistent lineups.

While this is likely, there are really only 3 teams I don't want to see in the playoffs.

Clippers - just a terrible matchup
Thunder - better until proven otherwise
Grizzlies - so much size and skill in the post, and Tony Allen and Lee have the defensive ability to give Harden fits. Really hope they miss the playoffs

Outside of that I think they could beat any other team in a series easily enough, from the West anyways.

Right now the matchups would be...

1 Spurs vs 8 Grizzlies/Suns
2 Thunder vs 7 Mavs
3 Rockets vs 6 Warriors
4 Clippers vs 5 Blazers

ALL of those series could go either way. My most confident would be Thunder, bad matchup for Mavs. But those are all tough matchups for the higher seeds.
