Nobody is "upset".....it's amusing to me actually. That's why I typed it's hilarious.

Put him on that person's team and they wouldn't be saying anything.

I probably also won't be posting a rookie #'s 3 games into a 82 game season....

As for me supposedly being a "hater", I think his dad is a dick but Lonzo seems like a good kid for the most part. I have nothing against him.

Ball is averaging fewer TO"s than

Westbrook, 5.3 per game.
Wall, 5 per game.
Russell, 4.7.
Rubio, 4.3.
Walker, 4 per game.

I could keep going but I won't.

So there are 5 players with more TOs than Ball? Maybe a couple more?

The point is that the raw numbers are absolutely meaningless without looking at how efficiently he gets them. It is essential to add that context.

3 games in Ball is averaging:

13.3ppg, 9.3rpg, and 8.7apg
Saw Ball almost put up a triple double again last night...

... then I looked a little bit closer at the box score, and saw his (+/-) was a -24.

But dude got his stat's alright.

Yeah, I'm not looking for a argument.

Bad enough I have to sit thru my kids soccer practice.

Haven't I been punished enough?

Yea he's going to get his assist and rebounds. Scoring isn't there yet. Seems to be a low % shooter in his first 3 games.

I can see something like 13, 8, & 7 on 41% shooting or so

I could live with that.

Yeah, not very good.

Most rookies struggle with FG% and TOs though. Ball will likely always struggle somewhat in those cats.

If he listens to his dad and shoots 20 times a game, that could be a problem.

Shooting...I agree.

3.7 turnovers per game isn't even close to struggling.

Not sure how that happened. lol

Was really weird to watch. It's not often you see a guy get 13 assists and have his +/- be that bad.

Ben as good as advertised.

Like the Freak, when he can hit from outside on the regular...

Mercy.

Fultz still struggling, though.

Really, if the kid is hurt... Philly should just sit him out for a while.

Here's a link to a story on Jason Tatum from a Celtics fan site:

Three plays that show how advanced Jayson Tatum’s scoring really is | Red's Army

There are quick views of Tatum on offense... and it is encouraging how smooth and natural he is on that side of the ball. He has touch both in his set shot and on the move.

If you haven't seen Tatum play, I encourage you to check out the link.

Especially after the Hayward injury (which will open up minutes)... and any other year, I might think Tatum would be a front runner for ROY. But guys like Ball and Simmons will probably blow the competition away with stat's. Still, Tatum is shaping up nicely.
