I say yet again, WVU would be in the ACC now, playing against our rivals, making very similar money had the desperation move not been made. And I hope that plans are being made for what happens when the B12 goes the way of the BE. Read and think folk, the news is full of stories of how unhappy OU is right now, do you not think the B11 isn't listening? How huge would it be to reunite OU and Nebraska?

First of all..the ACC twice now during their expansion wanted to have nothing to do with WV...and if they do expand again they will be thinking UCONN first.....and anyone else not named WV...

OU is postering...The Big 10 is done expanding...

The B11, ACC, SEC and PAC are NOT done expanding, their goal is four leagues. The B12 will cease to exist sooner rather than later, you better hope the ACC or SEC decide they want us or we will be begging to get back into the AAC. OU is NOT posturing, they are unhappy with the current state of the league, they could nearly double their income by joining the B11, the writing is and has been on the wall. Only two "major" conferences have been raided for multiple teams, the BE and the B12, if you think the buzzards are not behind the scenes pitching to OU and Texas for them to jump, you are dreaming. You and your buds are so convinced that there is some conspiracy within the ACC to never have WVU it is hilarious, it is ALL about money, not name. Hell we would be in the ACC now if UL would have gone West.

Get the money. Sadly for the Big 12, schools like OU can look out there and see the disparity between themselves and schools from the B1G or SEC.

I don't know if the networks providing this disparity will survive into the future. ESPN is cutting back as bundle packages with cable continue to be less profitable than in the past. Millions of past cable subscribers have left.

If OU remains patient, the Big 12 may end up the league with the most solid financial footing.

Whats the value to those leagues into expanding further?...its what the Big12 is pondering now..anything outside of 12 teams the revenue payouts begin to shrink....they need a network...that won't happen undtil the Texas shuts theirs down....

REALLY???? The B11 doesn't add value with OU, Texas, ND, or Kansas????? The B12 members are in a quandry as no team that brings value will leave their current league, if the B11 or SEC offered, ANY school would be there tomorrow, leaving any other league. I do not get why you want to argue this, the B12 WILL be gone inside five years, picked apart by the others. The B12 is behaving exactly as the BE did........

Abundantly clear that ABC/ESPN might not be part of next B1G media rights package

Implication is clear: ESPN, Big Ten might divorce

Northwestern athletic director Jim Phillips on Wednesday addressed the possibility that ABC/ESPN will not be part of the remaining package:

“The Big Ten will do what’s best for the Big Ten, and ESPN has to take that same position. Everyone is watching what’s happening in the television world, the un-bundling that’s taking place, different platforms available now that maybe weren’t in the last go-around for TV contracts. This isn’t pointing a finger at ESPN in any way, stating you have to or don’t have to participate as a partner of the Big Ten. It’s more about: Can the two groups come together?

I am saying that don't add as much value as you may think...with shrinking demands in subscriptions in both espn views and conference's that have thier own televsion package they would not get that much bang for the buck...great example..the Longhorn Network runs in the RED!
Report: Longhorn Network bleeding money in first 5 years
