This is from the last 2 weeks or so...

Sausage fest: 5/10 Only adolescent teens enjoy nonstop sexual humor on that level.
Sully 8/10
Deep water Horizon: 7.5/10
Menace II Society: 8.5/10
I have to watch that one in a month or so for a class. Good to see you liked it. I've seen bits and pieces on TV but never the whole thing.

Weird.........!!!!!!!!!!!!

I decided to have a movie afternoon and evening in my man cave. I watched two.

Dracula....Untold. Every time I watch this one I find something I didn't see before. It's not great but I like it and have watched it three or four times.

The second one was The Equalizer with Denzel. It makes my visits to Home Depot more enjoyable every time I watch it.

I have to cull my Blu Ray collection. I've got about 20-25 I never watch anymore. My new tax person says I can deduct $15-$20 each if I give them to Goodwill.

I have a whack of discs. I keep them though. LAtely it's usually been concert BluRays. They can be replayed endlessly as uber cool video music.....

Watched it for the first time today. Really enjoyed it. Some fucked up shit goes down for sure but it sends a message. You need to watch from start to finish sometime.

Logan - Loved this movie and was by far the best of the 3 solo Wolverine movies. Glad that they got an R rating for this one. Still weird for me to hear Patrick Stewart/Charles Xavier saying "Fuck". 4 out of 5 stars.

I miss a good old Tom Hanks comedy, there is too much drama with his movies now.

Not comedy, but lookin forward to The Circle movie. Pretty interesting concept, and a scary reality.

I saw a trailer for that a few weeks back. Can't say I remember what it was, but it certainly peaked my interest.

And IIRC, Hanks is playing the bad guy. I can't remember him EVER playing the bad guy in a movie. That could be refreshing.

Yea it definitely portrays him as a bad guy, or at least the inventor of the stuff that goes wrong.

I didn't think Batman Lego was anywhere close to as good as the original Lego Movie--which I liked a lot more than I thought I would.

I think what made it great was that it acknowledged that it was just the wild imagination of a kid going through issues with his dad. It added a real depth that would get lost if it were just an animated movie where the characters looked like legos.

Movie Central (up here) ran the Alien movies in order.

I own a box set up to the one with Winona plus an AVP disc.

But the first 2 are always the emphasis.

Alien because it was made in the 70's so I always hope the sound on a TV effort will be better than on the DVD I have.

Aliens because in the box set it's a director's cut and includes different shit and sort of ruins the theatrical release.

So I watched Alien yesterday. Stands the test of time in my opinion. some special eefects might seem dated but still. I hope they NEVER do a remake.

Just finished Aliens. A tour de force. From the moment the snare drum starts as they are on the loading bay, til the final scenes it is 100% rocket fuel. The cast is stellar.

James Cameron was on a roll till Titanic.....

Watched Hacksaw Ridge last night. It was better than I thought it'd be since I usually don't care much for Andrew Garfield. 3.5-4/5
