Martin is pitching a really solid game, again. If he keeps it up, won't this be his 3rd in a row?

Chances are good I'm more right haha

Well, you are the more better of us two, not doubt about it.

Boy, TAG got all wound up about the "proper etiquette" of bunting vs a no-hitter. Frankly, he made a several really solid points.

I start complimenting Perez and he immediately spits-the-bit like clockwork. I'll not fall prey to this again. :L

what did he say

He primarily sided with "if a guy uses the bunt as part of his day-to-day game, why shouldn't he bunt? Especially in a close game and/or if his team is in contention?" I kind of missed this, but apparently someone bunted against Verlander the other day in the 6th inning while he had a no-no. But the guy who bunted is a terrific bunter, and it and it was a 2-0 game.

TAG goes off the reservation sometimes, but his thoughts on this subject were rock solid to me.

Yes and no. Is he great, absolutely not. But right after he made the error, in the next inning he went a long way to track down a long fly.

He seems to struggle with ground balls more than fly balls.

He also bobbled one in the corner.

I follow Brandon McCarthy on twitter and he mentioned that the 6th inning is still the middle of the game. 2 outs in the 9th? That's a different conversation.

True....But it didn't amount to anything. Like I said, those grounders can be an adventure with Shin-Soo. ha

Really. What was that all about? The only time he could steal is on the back end of a double steal.

I don't know what any of ya think of Mike Bacsik, but a month or so ago he was saying he thought Mazara was not a ML outfielder and needed to be a DH only.

I don't at all agree with this. What do y'all think?
