At least the team sites still have the old format for stats and standings, but no date option.

It's like I always tell my business support analysts - Nobody said going with SAP© was going to make things easier or better.

Vin Scully fancy stat - If you started working today at a company, you would have to be working for the same company in the year 2083 to match Vin Scully's tenure with the Dodgers.

Anybody know a good site that has up to date fancy stats? Seems like a bunch of them have closed up shop in the last year.

Fun Fact: The history of the @NHL, founded 100 years ago today, can be tracked through five players.
Jaromir Jagr played against Guy Lafleur, who played against Gordie Howe, who played against Dit Clapper, who played with/against Cy Denneny, who played on opening night. #NHL100

I wonder why they chose Lafleur in that chain? There's more a couple of guys that fit in that spot, hell there's probably an entire 23 man roster.

Fun NHL 100 birthday fact: Opening night wasn't really a night - they didn't have night back then.

Yup, especially when you remember that Gordie came back to play for the Hartford Whalers in the NHL after the WHA folded in 1979. Anybody who came into the league in 1980 and played for 10+ years works.

Imagine the roster you could get of just hall of famers who played with/against both Gordie and Jagr.

Gretzky
Messier
Lafleur
Bourque (Ray, not Phil)
Trottier
Mark Howe
others?

Seems like a missed opportunity to use Gretzky in this list. Oilers and Whalers played each other 4 times in 79-80.

I'd have to look at a list to figure out more I think
