I never understood why they signed him.

I have this fear Carroll/Schneider will keep him around the rest of the season and when the playoffs come Blair will miss a game winner just like he did for the Vikings.

No one should be surprised that Walsh shit the bed Sunday. We all knew this day would come the minute he was signed. What is surprising is that it didn't happen sooner. I don't know why this team will not re-sign their kickers. Josh Brown, Steve Haushka. Is Hauschka really making so much more than Walsh that we could not afford to re-sign him?

We can't afford losses to second tier teams. Don't know if this team ultimately will make the playoffs or not, but losing to Washington probably cost us what little hope was left of getting HFA. We still have to play Philadelphia and the Rams, and road games in Dallas and Jacksonville. Probably have to sweep those four games now just to get a first round bye.

Its starting to look like Walsh can't kick when it's a bit chilly out. Minny's playoff game was cold as a whore's heart, and the 3 misses in Seattle happened on a day it was nearly snowing. Maybe Walsh needs to play for a dome team.
