pac after dark seems to mean the game cannot start until dark. beautiful day on the peninsula only to have to wait for a 5 pm start. allegedly to allow national viewers. unfortunately we're up against usc-ucla which does have national interest.... zero interest for this game nationally

so we get a late kickoff, avoid the sunny day which would have brought more fans in the seats, zero national audience for tv, and gametime wasn't even announced until 6 days ago. so if you were alumni and coming in for the game you don't know when to fly in - fri pm or sat am. further should you book a room for fri night or sat night? by the time larry scott tells you it doesn't matter - rooms will be booked

It's amazing how they consistently play to the level of their competition...and they've done that for a long time now
