Its simple
1st its weekly league not daily
2nd he would rather take a chance on a RP that has 1 start over a closer who doesnt always get saves in a week:suds:

Ill take my chances with the closer:suds:

Me too...

Especially when the alternatives are whom he mentioned. I'm sure there are closers available... or closers in waiting, a la Nate Jones.

Points, from what I've gathered.

If points then this whole thing is nonsense. There is no punting a category so it is all about which pitcher gets more points.

Speaking of Perdomo and Cahill, what is up with San Diego. Are they trying to set a team of also-rans.

Nonsense?

Why, how dare you call a thread about a fantasy sport nonsense!

Next you will be criticizing the motives of characters on tv shows like Legion...

I mean when I saw that rotation a week ago it was all a bunch of over the hill guys. I don't think I have ever seen such a pitching rotation devoted to the fifth starters of the world.

The angels say hey:suds:

Ricky Nolasco has been announced as the Angels' Opening Day starter.

He'll be followed in the rotation by Matt Shoemaker, Garrett Richards, Tyler Skaggs and Jesse Chavez. Nolasco pitched reasonably well in the Cactus League this spring, producing a 3.52 ERA over four starts. Still, it's never a great sign when Ricky Nolasco is your team's No. 1 starter. At least the Angels have Mike Trout, right?

yeah.... have you guys met the Reds? Led by Scott Feldman? LMFAO! Bronson Arroyo (maybe) and a bunch of rookies... one who has the actual name, "Rookie Davis".

So I guess they aren't a bunch of 5th starters.... they are a bunch of 6th starters!

Padres starters still take the cake, I think. I actually kinda like Arroyo. He could be the new Bartolo. ;)

Richards is a good number two pitcher and Shoemaker and Skaggs are young. That's nothing like the padres rotation.

I picked Feldman back up. He did well against the Os. Might just get Andriese too.
