I don't think I have ever seen a B10 bowl schedule that is actually somewhat favorable. Don't see a game that I am like "No way that teams wins" There are usually 3 or 4 of those lol

Yup, #21 ranked 9-3 Northwestern really got screwed over for the Outback Bowl in favor of 8-4 unranked Michigan.

I realize the reason is $$$ due to the large Michigan TV audience. Advertisers would be reluctant to spend a significant portion of their marketing budgets on expensive New Years Day TV commercials during a game featuring a team with a small fan base such as Northwestern. But damn... I really feel bad for the players at Northwestern who earned the opportunity to be in the Outback Bowl on New Years Day.

This really sucks for Northwestern. Well, they can respond by kicking the crap out of Kentucky in the Music City Bowl in Nashville.




The good news for Michigan State is that Sparty got exactly the Bowl they earned with their 9-3 record (which includes a loss to Northwestern). The Holiday Bowl in San Diego is what the Spartans rightfully deserve....and what they received.


But again, the Northwestern screw job sucks...... Northwestern should be in the Outback Bowl, and Michigan should be in the Music City Bowl.

It sure is nice to be a Blue Blood.....right, Michigan?

I’m happy with playing a #18 Washington State rather than an unranked South Carolina. Northwestern absolutely was the team that was screwed over.
