Well after a slow start to the trading season there are only two teams that haven't traded for or away any draft picks and it's the 1st and 2nd place finishers from last year (go figure). Fuzzy (Defending Champ) and Doug (The Wrecking Crew).

He 29, expensive and on the final year of his contract and the Lions got a couple of young cheap upcoming WRs on the roster already.

Well, I'm one of those people, just can't get behind Tate...but he's infinitely better than Merideth!

Sorry, poor choice of words and I really wasn't referring to you guys, but he was the 15th best scoring wide receiver last year one spot behind Doug Baldwin and he was ahead of Stefon Diggs, Alshon Jeffery, Mike Evans, Devin Funchess, Demaryius Thomas, and T.Y. Hilton. I'm just saying that he is an infinitely underrated receiver and never gets enough credit from all of us especially in PPR.

All good points, but as Bandit points out you can't argue with the numbers and durability of Tate - been saying that for some time. I see it like this; I have a couple of guys that are likely playing their final yr (Fitz, Lynch) who I'm gonna need to replace before next yr - plus move for me. I got a 25yr old startable WR (plus for me) - but he's coming off a major knee injury and going to a new team with unknown role - minus for me. To break even, one of those picks has to be worth 90 catches, 900-1000 yds and 5-6 TDs - unknown for now. So to be fair - the jury is out as to whether it goes in my favor or his.

In my final analysis, I would not have done it without the faith I have in the WRs I had left on my roster - so, for me, it is worth the risk. ....
