Football should be played in the elements... hate that Minnesota turned into a dome team. Loved that early 70's Vikings team playing outdoors at the Old Met.

I still laugh at the memory of Bears coach Mike Ditka wearing roller skates on the sideline to protest the Vikings going to an indoor stadium for the first time.

Ditka believed indoors was for bowling and roller skating, not a man's game like football.

if football was played in the summer and fall it wouldn't be an issue, but extreme conditions don't allow the athletes to perform to their god given ability. Slipping and sliding around in extreme cold isn't fun for the players and sitting in a cold ass ice box of an outdoor stadium sucks.

You've got the #1 and #2 seeds in the NFC playing off against each other in the NFCCG. It's the way it should be.

Plus if I was a Vikes or Eagles fan I'd be a little pissy at all the headline saying shit like "it's the Pats and 3 door crashers in the Conference playoffs". Door crashers? Like I said they were the 1st and 2nd teams in the conference so they earned being there. Maybe the Jags are door crashers but they've also earned the right to be there. It's like ESPN and CBS think it doesn't count or its going to be shitty unless Brady, Rodgers, Brees or Roethlisberger are in the finals every single time.
