HoF game

I wish the Hawks would have been in this years HoF game because of Kenny going to the Hall. I think had he played a full career he might be looked at as the best Seahawk of all time not just one of the best. Also the extra week of practice and the extra game to use to evaluate players, I have always felt it gave teams a unfair advantage and even more so now. With the limited "contact" practices they have now the HoF game gives you an extra weeks worth of practice and a extra game. This is HUGE.

Dont want to hear about " more chance to get injuries" because injuries are always a concern and if you are afraid of injuries then you are playing and/or watching the wrong damn sport.

Seahawks practice getting chippy. Germain Ifedi just mixed it up with Frank Clark and Cliff Avril. Looked like Clark landed a blow to Ifedi's face. Ifedi wasn't wearing a helmet. Clark booted from practice, escorted inside by coaches. Ifedi was being tended to by trainers but has now been taken inside as well.

Sheil Kapadia

Great these are the things that costed the Hawks a pick. Clark and Luke got into it just a few days ago also. I get it that Clark is showing passion but he is also showing disrespect to his TEAM MATES, His FAMILY!

710 Radio is saying that Clark's blow to Ifedi's face was a cheap shot...

Malik McDowell has reported and is at VMAC. Wonder how long till he is on the field?

PC said that McDowell's injuries are unknown but they are long term injuries.

Kenny Lawler looks a little bit bigger, This is a good thing as he was stick thin at 6-2 under 200 last year. He went off the field with a undisclosed injury ( non-contact ) in Thursdays practice after making a sliding catch. Lets hope it's just a twisted ankle or something minor like that. If i had to guess on his weight i would say he is 205 or bigger but i am no carnival weight guessing guru lol and pads always make you look bigger. I think he was at 180-190 last season.

Have they said it's a head injury? Could be broken pelvis for all we know.

Ah, saw the rumor of facial injury. Weird that so little has come out on this.

Yeah they have talked about it being a facial injury, other than that who knows. No info for some reason which is strange seeing as it's been around a week now.

So what's the chance of Carson being the real deal, and not just a flash in the pan camp/pre-season guy?

IMO Walter Jones is the best Seahawk of all time. Demarcus Ware recently posted in the players tribune that Walter Jones was one of the 5 best players he had ever faced, and was the only offensive lineman on his list.

Who could forget this block?

Eddie Lacy passing every weigh in so far has me feeling optimistic that he can be a 1100 yd back with 8-9 tds.

Tyler Lockett returned to the field a couple days ago (finally off the PUP). We need him to solidify the 2 spot and to provide us the deep threat to open it up for Jimmy across the middle. Paul Richardson showed some flashes last year, I'm hoping he can hold down the 3 spot.

I'm not opposed to Jermaine Kearse being on the roster simply because if injuries happen (and they do), it'll be nice to have a reliable guy who is comfortable with Russ.

I expect Jimmy Graham to have a monster year this season. Seahawks need to find a way to get him and Baldwin the ball more. The numbers don't lie. Russ had the highest completion percentage and QB rating throwing to those guys and by far the worst throwing to Kearse.

Yet Kearse somehow got 90 targets

As for the O-line I'll believe we've made progress when I see it on the field in a game that matters. Our defense I'm not worried about. One of the young dbs will emerge and Lane will most likely bounce back and solidify the nickel corner.

He 'somehow' got those targets, because the year before he was one of the NFL's best at catch %, thus Russ trusts him.

Will he continue the downward slide, or improve back to form? Dunno. But let's not re-invent history and pretend like Kearse was always a bum.

Wow. Sounds really dang bad. Bet the Seahawks wish they had gone a different direction. Win some, you lose some. Hopefully they hit on some gems this draft to make up for it.

He also said there were multiple injuries, which makes more sense since I've been trying to wrap my head around how a "Non-career ending, non-life threatening" injury, where a guy isn't currently hospitalized, could be keeping him out the entire year.

Could be something as simple as a detached retina.
