It's not perfect, but it should be pretty good. In no particular order:

Kenley Jansen
JP Howell (L)
Luis Avilan (L)
Pedro Baez
Joe Blanton
Chris Hatcher

Other guys I won't be surprised to see come out of the bullpen to various degrees of frequency:

Adam Liberatore (L)
Ian Thomas (L)
Josh Ravin
Yimi Garcia
Frankie Montas
Alex Wood (L)
Jharel Cotton
Chris Anderson
Mike Bolsinger
Carlos Frias

Add Sierra to that list. Whenever he does sign. I am guessing he will start in the pen but you never know.

I wonder why they gave him such a big contract? It appears he got shelled in Cuba according to the stats I read. I hope they know what they are doing here. We have had more misses than hits with the Cuban onslaught. I love the aggressiveness with international spending but our Cuban players at this point have been disappointments. I have faith in Alvarez and Diaz though!

They are paying for his raw talent. He's got plus velocity and plus movement on his fastball, they say his slider is good, and right now it seems like he is just a decent change-up away from being a solid starter. He got a contract of that size because of his age and the fact that he is not subject to international spending limits.

Also, before being overly concerned, keep in mind that he's getting:

Sierra will receive salaries of $1 million in 2016, $2.5 million in 2017, $3.5 million in 2018, $4 million in 2019, $5.5 million in 2020 and $7.5 million in 2021.

He's turning 25 years old this summer. Those numbers are dirt cheap for a starter (did you see what Ian Kennedy got from Kansas City?) and this deal takes him to age 31.

Thanks for the information. I didn't know his contract was broken down like that. Makes sense.

Yeah and since he's over 23, he's got better bargaining leverage because teams don't have to consider additional monetary penalties or being shut out of future signing periods.

Also, his contract is laid out similarly to a draft pick, in that he can be optioned to the minors and he can accrue MLB service time to opt out of his deal, remain under team control, and opt into arbitration. I think that's where the 6 years come in as a magic number.

I missed this from the other day, but apparently the Dodgers called up Zach Lee to be in the bullpen.

Through 17.1 innings over 3 starts this year (in AAA, duh), Zach has given up 3 ER (1.56 ERA) on 22 hits, 1 walk, and 14 strikeouts. No home runs.

Frankie Montas might start a rehab assignment soon, and looks to be slated for the bullpen.

The Dodgers' bullpen is one of the reasons they will miss the playoffs this year.

Hello, Casey Fien.

After sitting at mostly 92-93 MPH in his career, he came out tonight in his debut and was LIVING at 95 MPH with a nice tight cutter/slider. So, yeah, don't know if they made a mechincal tweak or he was just amped up or what, but things just got interesting with him real quick. He looked great.

Montas moved to AAA and seems to be very close to being ready to join the Dodgers bullpen.
