I'm starting to wonder if there are so many upsets and close-call upsets this year because of the officiating. Seems like the games are being called very tight across the board... which sort of neutralizes talent and athletic disparities.

Yep. Officiating is pretty piss poor and teams playing out of the ordinary, which causes crazy things to happen.

Hey Nightmare, I checked my bracket: I had Umass over Tennessee.

Also had Providence. And VCU. And Duke in the EE...

My brackets took a shit today. Tennessee did me right but VCU and Duke threw a wrench in them all. Picked the Friars in two, Tar Heels in two, but my top bracket got rolled by Baylor and Gonzaga. 99.8% down to 97%. It is what it is.

No Oklahoma is the 3rd highest scoring team in the Country. San Diego St. won at Lawrance, I know they are good. They had a much easier first round game is all I'm saying.
