What would that have to do with this year's team?

When was the last time OU lived up to it's ranking?

Questions like this are irrelevant. Texas comes into this upcoming season with most likely a top 5 defense, a loaded backfield, and a young improving OL. If they can not turn the ball over and put up more than 21 a game, they'll win 10 games. The OL is the key for them.

Maybe you should look at the Sooners 55 ranked defense and ask yourself how you guys are not going to lose 3+ games because you can't stop anybody......but then, I bet that never crossed your mind, did it?

Hmm, sounds like the same pre-season toutings as last year. Fact of the matter is not many players on your roster have beaten these teams so to say I'm "trolling" is laughable. WV will have the best qb in the conference and texas will still have one of the worst. The Oklahoma schools have owned you and after losing 2 straight years at home to Osu lite you travel to Stillwater this year.

Try actually evaluating who Texas has on their roster, instead of making assumptions that A) they can't win because they haven't in 2 years, B) they are incapable of improving, and C) you aren't capable of sucking

EVERY team in the conference lost key pieces on offense. Texas comes in with more returning players than just about anyone, and they were all YOUNG last year. They were the #11 ranked defense and the ONLY d that faced 6 top 15 offenses. How did your Sooners do in that area?

You have no idea how the offense, or QB, is going to perform for them next year, none. Which is what makes you a troll......because you're just spewing out an uninformed, ignorant opinion based on hot air.

LMAO. Stoops can't turn water to wine. His defenses in Zona weren't great, and yours won't be great next year either. Maybe in a few years.....but not next year.

Texas will be DOMINANT. Good luck, but hoping Stoops can turn it around is not a strategy.

Stoops will make the defense better, just how much remains to be seen. At Zona he was head coach and most likely didn't spend alot of time on the defense, that will be his only job at OU. He has proven he is a good 'DC', but ,many cordinators don't do well at the HC position.
