I dont want to honestly see a bowl game with A&M

The rivalry deserves a more formal reintroduction. It deserves an official reconciliation and planned meeting.

Shoe-horning it into a low level crap bowl for cheap spectacle and a few extra viewers would hurt both schools.

Texas doesnt need the added pressure as it is rebuilding its program and has some positive energy finally.

Sumlin probably should not be forced into a defacto "Win or be fired in this low level bowl game".

I am 100% for it returning as a regular season game, but it wont be good for either side if it is shoehorned into a crappy bowl game.

IF Texas, ISU, WVU, and Okie Junior all finish 6-3 in league, Texas will go to the best bowl as they will be picked in the tiebreak by the bowls.

Not fair, but its about money and branding for bowls. Big name recognition.

OSU better not gack this game versus Kansas State (trailing 7-0) before they start thinking of best bowls.

Hardly, but you keep on believing that. If you believe that, its probably a little more to it then you can understand. Unbelievable, you have a moment of success and you think you have all the answers.

Only at Blue blood programs like Texas. 3 losing seasons in a row will get you fired. At OSU where there are ZERO expectations and no pressure to win conference titles or NC’s and where they rarely sellout home games, you can get away with that.

Happened last week also. Seems like the BIG 12 is making rule changes

I dont understand this-first time I saw, about blew a fuse. "hey it's Texas: let's stop the game here and have the booth review a play, maybe we'll find something we can penalize them with"
