Tevon Coney To Face Trial For 2016 Pot Bust

As you may recall, Coney was one of several players busted with Max Redfield.

He is scheduled for a bench trial in Aug. 1, 2018. But I don’t think this is as bad as it sounds. See, Coney withdrew his agreement to enter the diversion program and plead not guilty. The word is, he passed the drug test and he and his lawyers now think he can beat the two year old charges.

I don’t view this as a negative, other than it may interfere with fall camp. Remember, it was HIS lawyers requesting to withdraw free m the deal. That means they think the state’s case is weak and worth fighting.
