I remember when I was playing 11-12 year old ball, they made us go to whichever on-deck circle was behind the batter. This was because some kid had gotten drilled by a foul from one of his teammates.

It was always a great opportunity to trash-talk some other team's batters when they were on-deck in front of our dugout.

"Reggie's looking sort of okay today...how many guys did he hit in last week's game? five?"

"Nah, it was four, but 'member two of them were head shots..."

On the on deck circle, little league or just watching a game he should have known that.
Did he ever go to the wrong sideline playing football?
