maybe in your world or maybe in the Doobsters.. but I think there is MORE controversy if you go just by stats. stats dont tell all when you are building a team.

Sure there would be second guessing, People would complain about how players were used, their linemates, ice time, +/-, speed, size........ etc etc

The teams your system picked are good, but picking solely by stats seems like a terrible idea to me. So many important parts of the game don't show up on a score sheet.

Probably, should be more than just stats, but I would go by stats to pick goalies at least. I can't believe Cana-duh only picked one of my goalies.

Ironically, the position I was most accurate in predicting with stats was dman. A position that's typically not stats based.
