Peyton Manning--293
Eli Manning--135
Brett Favre--127
Tom Brady--105
Drew Brees--104
Dan Marino--84
Fran Tarkenton--74
Ben Roethlisberger--69
Philip Rivers--35
Aaron Rodgers--1

I just learned this from Tiki and Tierney. Holy hell, that's astounding. Of course, this is all about the Packers drafting a QB in the 1st round this year instead of a receiver to help out Rodgers. Marcedes Lewis is the 1st round player in which Rodgers connected on the lone TD pass.

What do you think the temperature is? One.

What's Wilson? I think it's < 10. I know he threw a TD to Penny last year (a RB granted but still a 1st round pick) and a few in his career to Lynch (1st rounder technically).

I don't think Wilson has ever thrown a TD to a 1st round wide receiver or tight end...

Given that Lewis was a 1st round pick by Jacksonville, it's guys that were picked in the first round and signed or traded for.

This is a good point. The reason the numbers are so low for many on this list are that not a lot of teams take a receiver in the 1st round. Detroit busted 3 years in a row, blowing 1st rounders on WRs, for example.

It says more about better GMs, that guys like Brady and Rodgers can have success with lesser picks like Jordy Nelson, Davante Adams, Deion Branch, Rob Gronkowski, etc. A good QB needs at least a decent receiving corps and competent running option to succeed. Watching Brady struggle last year with CFL-quality guys around him was painful.

Sure he has. LOL
Marshawn Lynch
Braylon Edwards (1)
CJ Spiller
Rashaad Penny

I think that's it for the list regarding Russell Wilson. That's 128 games for Wilson and 174 for Rodgers.

I can't believe you don't remember that one TD pass to Edwards.:D

lol you mean that random 10 yard pass that got us within 6 of the Patriots early in the season, but still didn't win the game and Sidney Rice was on the roster (who won it)? *yes I had to look this up lol*

God I'm such an IDIOT!

I actually don't put a whole lotta stock in a player being a 1st round pick. Is it a commentary on the Packers for drafting shitty in the 1st round? They don't draft "skill" players in the 1st round? It's proof that you don't have to be a 1st round pick to be successful in the NFL. Granted, the Packers didn't draft ANY receivers this year so, that may cause some turmoil in Green Bay this season. :heh:

Davante Adams (2)
Randall Cobb (2)
Donald Driver (7)
Greg Jennings (2)
James Jones (3)
Jordy Nelson (2)

Just because you traded for or signed someone as a free agent does not change the fact that they player was a first round pick for such as stat, ESPECIALLY in the case of a HOFer like Moss.

Packers have only used 2 first round picks on offense since Rodgers was drafted, and they were both linemen (Bulaga and Sherrod). However, as you have noted they HAVE used day 2 (round 2 or 3) picks on Ty Montgomery (3, 2015), Devante Adams (2, 2014), Randall Cobb (2, 2011), Jordy Nelson (2, 2008), James Jones (3, 2007), Greg Jennings (2, 2006), and Terrence Murphy (2, 2005), so that TD total is a very misleading stat.

Agreed, the bigger problem is that in addition to not drafting any WRs this year, they haven't used anything more than a day 3 pick since 2015 (and Montgomery moved to RB).

Well the Pack hasnt taken a skill guy in the 1st round since 2002 ( Javon Walker ) and he was in Denver by the time Rodgers was starting. Same with Bubba Franks ( 2000)

Its actually quite shocking how shitty the Packs D has been on average with Rodgers considering how often they pick D in R1

Pretty funny he never tossed a TD to Percy Harvin.

Yet Percy still found a way to toss it to his wife.
