Is that the year we begin our Notre Dame series?

Yes it is. And just a year after we have out BYU and UCLA series. And just a couple of years before we schedule Maryland, UCF, and USC.

and all of it would have been tossed out if the PAC was willing to deal with you guys. But they weren't, so you were able to keep all those contracted games. Good for you guys.

So you're telling me that with only 3 OOC games allotted, we play BYU and UCLA next year?

- Oklahoma State opens the season against Florida State
- West Virginia opens the season against Alabama
- Kansas State hosts Auburn
- Texas Tech hosts Arkansas
- Oklahoma hosts Tennessee

Those are some decent matchups.

are you asking me something? I'm lost. A&M had an OOC against Arky, but now that isn't an OOC. It was backfilled with whomever had an opening, and that would be an FCS team out for a payday.

Hmmmm.....That's a lot of SEC/Big XII games. Would be nice to have one more but someone in Austin is to butt hurt or doesn't have the stones to accept an invite to play a game "anytime, anywhere".

I am trying to figure out why Texas head would explode.....

We might be too busy playing Notre Dame to worry about who is playing Arizona State.

Or it might be USC or Ohio State? I am losing track of all the high profile programs lining up.

They have a horrible OOC schedule, even worse than the Buckeyes this year.

So, a TAMU v. UT thread was going strong earlier today about TAMU's weak OOC. Then this comes out. Sorry, but the whole TAMU v. UT thing is so much fun to watch:

:pop2:

It's official: Texas A&M, Arizona St. to open 2015 in Houston - CBSSports.com

Lying Troll. Are you trying to start another inane discussion? Are you trying to deflect attention to another underachieving season by your Dawgs?

The thread was originally about Bowtie stating that his policy of "any place, anytime" was still in effect.

During the thread, a gaggie stated that Texas had 2 cupcakes on its' 2013 OOC schedule and was unable to respond in a logical fashion. The only OOC cupcake on the 2013 schedule was New Mexico State. As both BYU(#39) and Mississippi(#24) are not considered to be cupcakes according to the BCS rankings.

The gaggies OOC schedule of Rice(#55), Sam Houston State(FCS!), SMU(#91) and UTEP(#114) is pitiful. It's a joke that Rice is the gaggie's premier OOC game. I notice that the gaggies are following Florida's lead by playing only in state OOC games, but not playing OOC opponents of any quality.

We have to play Mizzou every year. That's as close to the Big 12 as I like to get. Fuck em.

Playing a team that is on the wrong end of a 76-37-5 record serves no purpose, especially when it was told in the 90's that if it wasn't in the same conference as the Longhorns the rivalry would end.

Besides our OOC schedule is booked solid until 2018 when we already have Maryland and USC on the schedule.

2014 North Texas, BYU & UCLA
2015 @Notre Dame, Rice & Cal
2016 Notre Dame, UTEP & @Cal
2017 Maryland, UCF & @USC
2018 @Maryland, USC & TBD

It's very funny reading about gaggies when they don't have the balls to go out of state for an OOC game.
