I'd be a little surprised but not shocked. MSU and Purdue are about the only locks right now. After that it's a race to 10-11 wins for everybody else

I feel like this is a huge 3 game stretch coming up before going to Ohio State.

vs Michigan

Nebraska is in a 4 way tie for 4th place in the conference. With one of those teams being Michigan at 3-2. Penn State is a "should win game" although I think that's going to be a really tough game to win. Illinois is a "will win" game and Michigan at home is a "should win" game.

You win the next three games and you're 6-2 in conference, 15-6 overall with 10 to play and heading into a game against a really good OSU team. That OSU game looks on paper like the toughest game left on the schedule. Every other game is at least "winnable". At Minnesota will be tough but who even knows what that shit show of a team will look like in a month when we play them.

Absolutely agree.

I made a post in another thread but completely forgot about Illinois.

These are 3 games that we definitely can win. Michigan is by far the best out of those 3. The Penn State game worries me the most out of the 3.

I can only see him being upset about his development under this staff or maybe he just isn’t clicking with the staff and/or team. He hasn’t developed well. Dude has started every game this year even though he probably shouldn’t have and it’s hard to stay on the floor when you can’t stay out of foul trouble or can’t score. Fact is we are better offensively with him on the bench. Plain and simple.

I thought we were screwed last year with all the transfers out of the program. When in fact we got exponentially better. So I’m not jumping off a bridge just yet.

If he does in fact transfer my biggest concern will be depth. Jordy’s biggest contribution this year has been eating up minutes and allowing Roby to come in which has been our most effective lineup by far. With Jordy gone it puts more pressure on Roby to stay out of foul trouble for longer periods of time.

Copeland, Gill, and Allen are all from the same town. You can definitely sense the bond between those 3 guys. I saw Nebraska play in person twice this year already and Jordy and McVeigh are obvious friends, but after that it just looks like he doesn’t fit in.

Penn State?

We were 8 point underdogs. I don’t think anyone thought that was a must win. Every road win is a bonus. Penn State is no slouch anyways. As I said, that was the game I was most concerned about in this stretch of 3 games coming up in the next week.

If we get these next 2 at home against Illinois and Michigan we’ll be right on track. “Should” and “need to” comes at the PBA on Monday. That is an absolute must win.
