Surprise teams for 2013?

Just for giggles, who do you guys think will be the surprise teams this year, a la Baltimore, Oakland, and (sort of) Pittsburgh last year?

I'll guess Cleveland (do they count, with the moves they made?) and the Mets...

I am not sure anyone in the AL West can be considered a surprise. Anyone but Houston has a shot at that title.

After reading/listening to all the pundits on MLBTV and ESPN, how about the San Francisco Giants? It would be a surprise to them.

But the Padres? Sir, I will take that bet, they look awful. They don't even have their usual solid pitching. If anything to me the DBacks have a better shot at second.

Headleys hurt, and its early still. they played damn good the second half of last season and i see them getting it clicking. The D'Backs are another team i see contending. My pre-season prediction was the Dodgers in 4th, tbh. just figured i'd sound like a hater saying it here.

I just don't see enough talent to compete with the 3 good teams in the West.

As far as the Doghairs, let your freak flag fly! We're all haters here, of Dodgers.

Yeah, unfortunately for us, I think the DBacks will be stiff competition this year. They've got a fine rotation and very good every day players. They're young and are led by a very capable manager.
