SUCKEYES boot Carlos Hyde, Top DB too?

ESPN reported Urban Cryer booted Hyde from team. Also, top DB Roby might be in trouble too. Both were solid ALL-B1G type players returning. Anyone think this will significantly hurt OSU's chances of winning their division?

Bradley Roby drunk in Indiana.. Starts a fight in a bar, punches a bouncer, probably all on video. He might just have to miss one game and run steps.


Freshman Tight End Marcus Baugh acting like a college kid. Underage drinking, fake ID. Missing one game. Hopefully, he can learn from this mistake. Only 100,000 other new freshman will do the same dumb thing.


Freshman OL Tackle Tim Gardner booted from the team for his arrest. This one sounds more serious.

His was actually a minor misdemeanor I think, but evidently he has been in the doghouse with Urban due to issues not related to breaking the law ie. dogging it in practice and probably having an overall shitty attitude. He's off the team for at least 2013, probably for good.

It makes me nervous that Hyde wasn't booted, he was just suspended. I suspect Hyde is going to get the classic 11 game suspension.

I think that Roby will be missed more than Hyde, but I don't think he will miss much playing time.
